Photography: Gray Malin

I'm sure that, if you've had the chance to explore the latest issue of Matchbook, you adored this series just like I did.

"Most fine art series revolve around a deep notion: mine revolves around a fantasy," says the photographer, Gray Malin, on this series in his book called A Timeless Pursuit.

Here the camera follows a mysterious, vintage Oscar De La Renta clad model from L.A. to Paris, by way of New York. Something interesting from Malin's interview: he chose the model and the location first (initially only L.A.), the dress was the afterthought! 

I can't decide what I want more, the dress, the photos or to be in that girl's shoes!
