Vintage + Modern in Austin, TX


I came across this house tour on Apartment Therapy and was drawn to the title LoAnne's Vintage and Modern Texas Charmer, and truth be told I was curious because I now have the smallest obsession of Texas after going through the show Friday Night Lights in a quick week. I actually took a sick day, that's how good that show is! You need to see it. I digress, lo and behold, no longhorn bull skulls to be found.









I stressed last week how much I like houses that look lived in and in this house, my needs have been met with the personality in the kitchen and the dinning area. However, I can appreciate the clean lines of the bathroom and bedroom as it offers a nice balance. Also, how much do you love that closet? You can tell it's Texas in there, alright.

    Love this. I particularly like how the closet is open and you can see all the clothes on the racks, sort of like a store.
